Microsoft has announced several new features that will come with the Windows Phone 7 Mango update, also known as Windows Phone 7.5. If you’re a business user and if for you the productivity is the most important thing in a smartphone, I am sure you will like these features a lot.

First of all, let’s mention the ability to save and share documents through Office 365 and Windows Live SkyDrive, which will be added to the new Windows Phone 7.5. This feature will be very useful for all business users for sure. Besides, as mobileburn.com reports, pinnable folders and threaded conversation view were also added, so you can now access yout email groups, folders, RSS feeds and much more from your homescreen directly, which is also very helpful.
Among the other things that are expected from this platform, there is another very useful feature that will most likely appear in Windows Phone 7.5 – you will be able to search the whole server for your emails, not only those that are stored on your smartphone.
Besides, Windows Phone 7.5 will have new security features (like complex password support, an opportunity to protect your emails and documents and many others).
The new Windows Phone 7.5 is said to be released this year, but no particular date is announced. Anyway, we’re waiting for it impatiently, and we hope that Nokia’s first WP7.5 smartphones will appear soon after the platform’s release. We have heard that they are already being tested, so the early versions of the platform are already available.
